From the Beans tab, you can view and search your current Bean Inventory as well as manage aspects of it by accessing Roast.World within RoasTime's in-app browser.

Why You Should Use the Beans System
Each and every Roast Profile can (and should) be paired with a specific bean or bean blend for better roasting analytics.
Each and every bean on Roast.World also belongs to a Green Bean Vendor.
Adding beans to your inventory on Roast.World is crucial for generating meaningful data and getting the most out of your roaster.
Adding beans to your inventory on Roast.World is the only way to manage your stock using RoasTime.
Accessing and Navigating Roast.World's Beans View from RoasTime
By clicking on the Manage Beans button on the top right of the Beans tab, you will open the in-app browser to your Roast.World account's** "Beans"** page. By default, you will be taken to the **"My Beans" **view, which includes all the beans currently in your inventory, as well as any you have archived.
As shown below, you can use the Navigation Dropdown menu to access the My Blends page, as well as to search for existing beans on Roast.World on the Discover page.

Filtering the Beans List View, Accessing Additional Features
You can search/filter your Active and Archived lists of beans for specific bean names and origins, as shown in the image above.
Also on the list view, via the Actions Menu highlighted above, for each listed bean you'll be able to:
- Adjust Inventory (add or subtract Green Weight)
- Archive Bean
- Delete Bean
- Quickly Set Inventory to 0 (in order to archive it)Browse and Add New Beans to Your Inventory with "Discover Beans"
By clicking on the Add Beans button and then using the dropdown menu to access the Discover page, you will be able to search through all existing beans on Roast.World, including those owned by others.
You can search for new beans by typing the bean name or vendor name in the search bars at the top of the list view.
But with many thousands of beans available on Roast.World, you may need to use filters to find what you are looking for. Simply click More Filters on the top right to refine your search as you see fit.
When you find the bean you are looking for, click the + button to the right of its name to add it to your inventory by inputting the correct total weights and total cost of your beans and clicking the Add to Inventory button.
Creating a New Bean on Roast.World
If you are unable to find the bean you are looking for through the Discover list, you can create it for yourself on Roast.World.
You can enter the Create a Bean dialog at any time from the Beans page on Roast.World by clicking the Create a bean button on the top right of each view.
At a bare minimum, you will need to provide the Green Bean Vendor name, the geographic origin of the bean, the name of the bean, and whether you wish to add it to your inventory.
By clicking Show Additional Details, you will be able to input more detailed information about the bean. The more information you can provide, the better! In particular, it is highly recommended you share how the bean was processed: Natural, Washed, or Honey.
Once you've finished inputting the bean's data, add inventory details if necessary, and then click the Create Bean button to complete the process.
"My Blends" Bean Blend Creation and Management on Roast.World
To create and manage Bean Blends, you must access the "My Blends" tab from the "Beans" tab on Roast.World. This feature is for people who like to pre-blend beans before roasting and want to simplify their inventory management. After each roast, the amount of green weight deducted from each bean will be in proportion to what you indicated when creating the blend.
To begin the process of creating a blend, click the Create Blend button on the top-right of the "My Blends" tab and enter all the relevant information.
